Speed Dominant (Speed > Revs)
The Serpent gives faster-speed players more downlane motion without giving up control or the hitting power of a large asymmetric core. Its Serpent core (2.51 RG, .048 diff, .016 MB) and the Serum AP26 hybrid cover provide backend strength for lower-rev players who want a reliable, predictable read.
Balanced (Speed = Revs)
Balanced players get strong backend, control, and continuation on heavy oil, durable enough to stay with longer in league. The higher RG makes it the answer when the Black Dragon reads a touch early and the Black Dragon Pearl runs a bit too long without enough overall hook.
Rev Dominant (Revs > Speed)
Like the Dragon core, the Serpent mirrors a symmetric shape with a larger intermediate differential, but the higher RG pushes it further downlane. With the Serum AP26 hybrid, rev players can confidently use it in transition or at deeper angles, control and power in one.
All-New Asymmetric Core
Serpent Asymmetric Core
The Serpent Hybrid debuts the all-new Serpent Asymmetric Core. At 15 lb it measures 2.51 RG, .048 differential, and a .016 mass bias, engineered with a higher RG than the Dragon core for enhanced downlane motion off a large asymmetric shape.
Like the Dragon core it mirrors the overall shape of a symmetric core with a larger intermediate differential, but the higher RG lets it push further down the lane. It slots in when the Black Dragon is a touch early and the Black Dragon Pearl is a bit too long.
AP26 Coverstock
Serum AP26 Hybrid
The Serpent Hybrid introduces the Serum cover as an AP26 hybrid. Adhesion Promotion technology enlarges the cover’s contact footprint at the molecular level for more traction in oil, better absorption as the pattern breaks down, and a cover built to resist micro-cracking.
The hybrid blend delivers a powerful midlane read with strong backend reaction. At a 4000 grit finish it is smooth and controllable through the fronts and continuous off the spot. USBC approved.
