Modern Performance Line
Fusion Pearl
The Fusion Pearl is a pearl that behaves: easy length through the front, a readable midlane, and a clean backend snap without the out-of-nowhere over-reaction that makes most pearls a gamble. It is the ball that restores your angle when stronger equipment starts reading early.
The debut Xplode Pearl AP26 coverstock is sanded to 4000 Abralon rather than polished and wrapped around the proven Fusion Symmetric Core, tuning it for medium to heavy transition and controlled shape down the lane. Coral, smoke, and black with the atom mark in neon green.
Energy is not created or destroyed. It is saved for the pins.
Who It Is Built For
Match It To Your Game
Speed Dominant (Speed > Revs)
Polished pearls can be a speed player’s nightmare, all skid and no read. The 4000 Abralon surface fixes that: the Fusion Pearl starts its move in the midlane where you can see it, then finishes with stored-energy pop off the friction. Length without the guesswork.
Balanced (Speed = Revs)
This is the transition ball of the bag. When the Unknown Solid or Fusion Hybrid starts reading early, the Fusion Pearl restores your angle: same trusted Fusion core shape, a step cleaner through the front, with a crisp move downlane that keeps carry alive in the mid-game.
Rev Dominant (Revs > Speed)
High-rev players get a pearl that will not squirt through the breakpoint. The .036 differential keeps flare civilized, so you can chase the oil left with confidence and let your hand supply the entry angle. When the heads are gone, this is the ball still striking.
The Engine
Fusion Symmetric Core
The Fusion Symmetric Core built the Modern Performance Line: it drove the original Fusion and the Fusion Hybrid, and it returns here with the same clean geometry. A 2.54 RG and .036 differential at 15 pounds give it a balanced, mid-flare motion that stores energy through the front and spends it where it counts.
It is the shape for bowlers who want visible backend without an unmanageable midlane: modern symmetric performance, no surprises.
The Coverstock
Xplode Pearl AP26
Xplode is the Fusion family cover, and this is its first pearl and its first AP26 formulation. Adhesion Promotion technology enlarges the cover’s effective contact footprint at the molecular level: more traction where pearls usually surrender, better oil absorption, and a cover that resists micro-cracking over its life.
Here is the twist: it ships at 4000 Abralon, sanded, not polished. That makes the Fusion Pearl a control pearl: cleaner through the front than a solid, but with a midlane presence polished pearls cannot match. USBC approved, and tuned for consistent, predictable motion rather than simply more hook.

What Bowlers Say About SWAG
★★★★★
4.9 out of 5 from 1,000+ verified SWAG reviews across our partner retailers
- Wipe the cover with a microfiber towel between shots and clean it with an approved ball cleaner after every session.
- The box finish is 4000 Abralon, sanded. Refresh the surface to keep the control-pearl read; AP26 covers are built to resist the micro-cracking that aggressive resurfacing can cause on ordinary covers.
- Balls are sold undrilled. Have the Fusion Pearl drilled by a certified pro shop and match the layout to your game.
“We play hard, we play to win, we respect our fellow bowlers, and we honor the rules of the game. This is who we are, we are SWAG.”
