Utility Performance Line
APEX Solid
The heavy-oil benchmark of the Utility line. A big symmetric core, a strong solid cover, and continuation for days.
The APEX Solid debuts SWAG’s APEX Solid cover, built for heavy oil: exceptional midlane traction with a clean motion through the front, and the dependable read you expect from a high-performance benchmark ball.
Its larger APX V1 core adds hitting power that outperforms comparable benchmark balls, and it comes in a full 10 to 16 pound range so senior, youth, and two-handed athletes get a real performance option below the usual 12 pound floor.
Who It Is Built For
Match It To Your Game
Speed Dominant (Speed > Revs)
The APEX Solid is a strong choice for speed players on medium to heavy oil. Its smooth, controlled reaction off the friction makes it easy to read the pattern, and it stands out on fresh oil that calls for a dependable hook.
Balanced (Speed = Revs)
For balanced games the APEX Solid brings power and control together. The APEX cover supplies superior traction and smooth, consistent motion, and the larger core adds hitting power that outperforms comparable benchmark balls like the Fusion Solid.
Rev Dominant (Revs > Speed)
Rev players who need a reliable ball for longer or heavier patterns get superior traction from the APEX Solid shell, so you can navigate challenging oil with confidence and precision.
The APX V1 Core is the symmetric benchmark engine of the Utility line, and it is a larger core than most balls in its class. At 15 lb it measures 2.50 RG and a .042 differential for a strong, controllable read with real hitting power.
That larger core gives the APEX Solid more drive through the pins than comparable benchmark balls. The wide 10 to 16 pound range runs a lighter core build below 12 pounds, so youth, senior, and two-handed athletes get the same benchmark read.
The Coverstock
APEX Solid
The APEX Solid debuts the APEX Solid cover, designed for heavy oil. It delivers strong midlane traction while staying clean through the front of the lane, the reliable read you expect from a high-performance benchmark ball.
At a 3000 grit finish it reads the midlane with authority and finishes with standout continuation through the pins, superior traction and smooth, consistent motion across a wide range of conditions. USBC approved.
